Wondering what the numbers are for Netscape-branded browsers, or
Opera, Be's thing, Lynx, etc...

I forget what the numbers were for yesterday but they were very sad.

Here are some numbers from 77 days (11 weeks) of HTTP logs...  DYOC, but it
looks to me like Microsoft is winning.

_______________________________________________________________________________
13833968 HTTP requests - 1 Jan 2000 through 17 Mar 2000 - www.lugnet.com

Notes:

1.  The browser brands below are what was reported as the HTTP user agent.
MSIE, MSPIE, and Opera identify themselves as "Mozilla compatible" and
this is taken into account.  Any other non-Mozilla agents identifying
themselves as "Mozilla compatible" are lumped into "Other."

2.  The numbers below represent simple raw HTTP hits, not page views or
unique users.  Thus, for example, since Lynx is a text browser, it
requests fewer URLs than GUI browsers request.
