I'm gonna haveta "me too" on this. I am a potential buyer in some of these
auctions. I am not so dense or clueless that I would give up looking for an
auction if the notices aren't thrown in my face. As such, I expect the
sellers in these auctions to be responsible and put the advertising where it
belongs.
Every auction site I've come across has a search function. LUGNET has an area
set aside especially for announcing auctions. It's not terribly difficult for
me to find what I want to buy. Thus: if you're not selling enough, you're
obviously doing something wrong. Whatever you do, don't take it out on the
rest of LUGNET.
