I was going to nag the LeoCAD author again with more questions, but the I cannot access the group lugnet.cad.leocad. Is anything wrong? Fredrik (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) NNTP. I'm getting this from the server: 411 No such group lugnet.cad.leocad But I can see it with the HTTP interface now, so I assume the problem in on my end. I'll try to reset the NNTP connection to see if that works. Yup, that worked! Ok, (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) Wow, how long ago did you start up that NNTP client (the one you reset, not the new one)? Must've been two or three days ago...? (...) Could you open your browser's "history" window and verify that URL, as well as the approximate time of day? (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) Sorry, I'm not sure when I started up that NNTP client. It could have been Nov 24th. I normally have the same Emacs/Gnus client running for months, but I had to kill the Emacs process at Nov 24th due to a crash. (Emacs 20.4 is still a bit (...) (...) Wow, what a long list! I didn't know about that function. Well, on the list, there is one entry for "(URL) but it has only got my two visits at 9:13 and 9:18 today, local time. Re the subject... Technically, c/wither/whither/ unless you are saying the group has withered away... :-) I'm such a pain, sometimes. But not a pain in the withers, it's a bit more central. (repost to fix followup) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.off-topic.pun)
