Concur that most of us are -extremely- busy people who make room
(at times with appropriate tools, such as a shoe-horn or 80%
dynamite <grin>) for our addiction(s), the original poster to whom
I reponded over-reached himself in both tone and ocntent. Thus my
response.

Indeed? Whilst I do not dis-agree with the -need- for some form of
response, I do vehemently dis-agree with the tone of said response.
Unless and until this particular invidual to whoim I responsed originally
can not only match Todd's ability to comment but also include his
level of civility and humour, the substitution is -extremely- poor, IMO.

Having in my time sysoped one of the largest WWIV/FIDO nodes on the West
Coast and moderated a very busy newsgroup, I understand the level of
frustration that can build up over misplaced posts. However, I do like
to think that on a first offence, I both did and would again react with more
humour and certainly without the 'slap to the face' that this person so
delivered.

Concur, and I mentioned this to Jason in email...when it belonged, IMO.
I value your opinions, Larry, and like to think that we both pass the
'resonable person' test from the legal end of the house <grin>.
Cheers,
Roger
