Losing articles in OE5

I've noticed in the last couple of weeks (at least) that many articles have
been expiring (or just getting lost) from my newsreader in Outlook Express 5.
Is this a known problem? Is there something I can do to stop it?

| It could be the Tools...Options...Ma...e...Delete news messages <n> days after being downloaded setting. I think the default is 5 days.
