This morning Jacob Sparre Andersen sent me the information for the
hugin.risoe.dk server where ldraw.org will be hosted, along with the technical
contact info for the administrator at the Risø National Research Centre where
the server resides.
This afternoon I registered www.ldraw.org with Network Solutions. Within the
next 24-48 hours www.ldraw.org should point to a specified account on
hugin.risoe.dk.
Work will commence on the site as soon as I figure out the final design as far
as images and fonts go. I hope to have the site design complete and ready for
others to come in and add the content in a couple weeks at the most.
If you would like to contribute to the purchase of this domain name (total
cost USD $70 for the first two years) please send me an email at
tim@zacktron.com with the amount of money you are willing to donate. A
suggested donation is $5 or $10, but please keep all donations in $5
incriments. I will reply to your email with my mailing address so you can
send a check.
Also, help is requested on the site. The site will be a total overhaul and
reorganization of the James Jessiman Memorial site. A lot will be going into
this site to improve the way people obtain resources on ldraw.

| I'll follow up with Tim offline but I'm pleased to make the following offer: I'll contribute either whatever Tim's short for the initial registration, or match the amount that Tim's over up to a limit of 100... that is if everyone else contributes (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
