(...) Well, the reason is because "Sensible Person" didn't actually write the text "In lugnet.admin.general, Sensible Party wrote:", so it's not really something that they said. I have had this question in my mind since Todd initiated the color-coding for responses in a thread: when someone replies to a post, why doesn't the number of arrows correspond to the text of the poster? For example, if someone named Sensible Party (...) (18 years ago, 14-Dec-06, to lugnet.admin.general, FTX)

This is still an ongoing issue for LUGNET and people who have to occasionally post to the lugnet.robotics hierarchy. However, some interesting questions about the gateway arise. For instance, I keep finding that my email address is specified as the (...) (18 years ago, 13-Dec-06, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) Yup, that was it. Upgrade to the new version (0.8), it's fixed there. Oddity - for some reason my FF wasn't able to detect there's a new version when I did "find updates". If that happens to you too, let me know! As a workaround, I had to (...) (18 years ago, 4-Dec-06, to lugnet.admin.general)
