Me too. I value everyone's input whether I agree with it or not, as long as it
is given in a constructive manner.

Yes.
It is the one I outlined to you in your mail to me asking me about it and asking
about posting here, the one where I encouraged you to post what you have just
posted. I have to go to a SingLUG meeting now so I will leave the details for a
later announcement but there are announcements of changes coming.

If by that you mean: can the membership expect that the admins will repeat the
mistakes that we have made in recent days, then no, a THOUSAND times no.
Mistakes were made in the procedures and processes, mistakes were made in the
wording and tone of some of what we have said, mistakes were made elsewhere, and
we sincerely regret them and will be endeavouring not to make the same mistakes
again.
So no, you cannot and should not expect more of the same. For more of the same
in this regard is unacceptable and we can and must and will do better.
If by that you mean: can the membership expect that the admins will continue to
try to serve LUGNET and continue to stand up for what we think is right for
LUGNET, and continue to try to do our very bes to carry out our duties, and
continue to seek and accept input about policies and procedures and areas of
improvement and continue to try to uphold the ToU to the best of our abilitiies,
then yes, a THOUSAND times yes.
So yes, you can and should expect more of the same. For more of the same in this
regard is mandatory if we are to be true to what we believe in.

I FERVENTLY hope they have not. I think we all have learned things. I have been
very impressed with a number of people, including yourself and many other
thoughtful concerned people, in this affair.
