More of a time issue - only wanted to spend a few minutes on it, and
writing code that decides if two different email addresses are actually
the same person was not worth the effort, imo. And in this particular
case, my opinion was the one that mattered :)

Nope, no one asked for it last year (that I saw), so I didn't post it.

It really did only occure to me while I was posting to add .statistics,
so I just appended the address quickly. When that failed, I just
reverted to retrying without.
