Hi all
I know that LUGNET is pretty much rigid about where buy-sell-trade announcements
can be posted, and I totally agree with this policy.
However, ItLUG would like to have its own commercial subgroup, something like
lugnet.org.it.itlug.market. The resons for this request is that many of our
members don't speak English, thus they are not able to post in the .market
hierarchy and couldn't handle the details of a transaction in English. Another
reason is that frequently our members are open to buy or sell only to people
living in Italy, this because they are not prepared or don't want to manage
int'l payments.
Is this possible?
Thanks
Mario

| (...) I believe it is possible, similar things have been done before. Todd has to do the setup. An alternative, which I think the Aussies pursued, was to get the charter for their group changed to allow trade talk. ++Lar (21 years ago, 8-Jan-04, to lugnet.admin.general)
