How did you subscribe? When I subscribe (very very rare, I use the web interface
pretty much exclusively), I go to this page
http://news.lugnet.com/news/
and then to this link on it
http://news.lugnet.com/news/mail/
and manipulate my subscription there.
Hope that helps. If not, ask again, after determining where you went to
subscribe and posting that link
