If I recall correctly, the last few months have seen a strong
spike in MOC postings and less in the area of complaints. (see
below)

Within the last several months or so, I have seen considerably
few posts in the nature of ‘gee I’m bored, let’s initiate
a posting rally to catch up with .space.’ rantings. I can only
think of two traffic posts, one of which which was written two
months ago

The claim of these postings occuring on a ‘regular’ basis
is sort of a ludicrous remark, though. Perhaps you should
get over your perceptions and take a good look at the newsgroup.
In the most likely case, the only traffic generators you’ll find
are MOC postings.
Vouching for castle, I’d have to say that post count numbers
really don’t matter in the long run. What is emphasized, though,
is the exchange of inspiration, creations and concepts.
There are occasional bumps in the road, but for the most part,
it seems to be paved evenly.

An anual roll call isn’t the worst example of this, but I still
lump it in the same category.
So call me whiney...
