I agree that there should be a discussion area for brickshops (even
though BrickLink has its own forums). I would personally like to see a
separate place for BrickLink adds though. I tend to skim them, and I'd
love for it to be easy to find the trade posts not related to BrickLink.
BrickLink has great searching capabilities, though I do occaisionally
look at BrickLink in response to adds.
I'd similarly like to see a section for eBay. If that was done, I think
the number of auctions that don't happen on eBay or BrickLink is so
small, I'd just put them in bst and forget about the distinction between
a "sealed bid auction" and a "or best offer by xxxx" (two offers that
are essentially the same thing, one which by its wording should be in
.auction to prevent flames, the other has specifically been identified
by Todd as something belonging in bst).

Agreed. Which is why I tried to take care with the tone of my post (if
you look at my previous periodic posts on this subject you'll see a lot
more frustration expressed).

Actually, Suzanne has already partially delegated this. At this point, I
think it's best to wait until Suzanne has time to review proposals and
put the final proposal in place. Both Larry and I have offered
proposals.

Actually, as I understand it, curators are not so much moderators (or
"police") as managers of the web page. Of course their dedication to the
topic suggests their opinions and suggestions of appropriate posting are
valued higher than Joe Random's. This is another area I'd like more
clarification of.
