It looks to me like the problem is in long subjects, rather than a long
list. Funny thing is though that I can't reproduce it. When I resize a
window I can't get the message frame to resize and wrap lines....

Actually, there is the rare post that does not look like that - example • here:

is small when no wrapping happens, and that does not happen in busy • groups.
