The system crashed again. Either it's running out of memory and that's causing a downward spiral or it's running out of CPU cycles and starving enough processes to build up and cause a meltdown. I think this can happen when a post sits in the sender's outbox (perhaps because they are offline) for a while before it is posted - I am pretty sure it is listed by sent date, but the age is based on when it reaches LUGNET. (...) I was just popping over here to report that! (URL) example, is currently showing this post as 21 minutes old (URL) the very next post in its list is shown as 24 minutes old (URL) is from yesterday... (26 years ago, 11-Dec-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

Todd, FYI: I started getting errors while posting using e-mail again, starting Thursday, 12/7. I received another one today, so I thought you'd like to know. The error is as follows: <<< 451 Cannot open hash database /etc/aliases.db: Inappropriate (...) (26 years ago, 11-Dec-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) Another idea: How about putting the date/time it was last updated into the report. It doesn't look like it's updated that often, and it would be nice to see how old it is before wasting my time clicking on prices which are no longer (...) (26 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

Todd: I finally got around to signing up for a little news-by-mail... Then it occurred to me. What I'd REALLY like is: 1) to be notified every time someone replies to a posting I've made, and not eveything that goes into a group. and 2) To be (...) (26 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.admin.general)
