I may have missed a post on this, however I found two Technic (2001) sets at
my TRU today. In addition to LoM and Movie sets. The numbers were
8240 Slammer Stunt Bike 14.99
8241 Battle Cars 9.99
The battle cars appear to be part of a new line that are equal to the Cyber
Slammers. There were some pictures of additional new sets (battle car
series) on the box.
The 8240 and I assume the 8242 are not part of the battle cars group as the
database infers, these are speed slammers.
The LoM sets are more impressive in person than they appear in the catalog,
I like them. The 8240 has some good parts and is a decent model. I did not
buy the 8241, too silly and I was mainly looking for a Technic set and
System set that would have the Technic/Regular catalog inside.
