| | | Opps, I forgot to reply.... yes I did check the mint copy of the 1961 Samsonite Catalog. The writing does say "V1867". So this is not a date (1967?), but some internal code? Since LEGO (Samsonite) was sold in the USA for the first time in 1961, and (...) (25 years ago, 24-May-99, to lugnet.admin.database)
