Here are some requests for keywords to be added to parts:
4218, 4219: garage, slat
3959: rod, round
3784: jumper, offset
4590: round
3481: pin
3462: pin
In general, it would be nice if as many features as possible of parts could
have standard names, and all parts containing those features have keywords
for those names.
For instance, searching for 'pin' in PartsRef returns many parts that have
Technic pins, but there is no corresponding way to search for 'pinhole' to
find parts that can receive Technic pins. Currently, those holes may be
referred to as 'pin joiner', 'hole', 'holes', or in the case of 2743, 2744,
2855, etc., just 'technic'.
You think this is a good idea, but too much work, I'm willing to put more
time into it, to do the data compilation. Let me know.
Also, the links from the LUGNET parts ref to the .DAT files do not appear to
work. For instance, this link:
http://www.ldraw.org/library/official/dat/3959.dat
returns the "Oops! We cannot find the page you are looking for." page.
