not that I know, but from what I can tell, db.inv is supposed to act like an informat database of inventories, while admin.database is the lugent administrator's box for comments on the lugnet GUIDE... I do wish we had a db.inv.d, since discussions are not supposed to happen there :/

| (...) Nod. I see admin.DATABASE as the DB.inv.d, too, in addition to the GUIDE function. I do usually remember that it's admin.mumble_somethi...th_aDin_it But what I was getting at was the inconsistent name. One is DB the other is DATABASE and I am (...) (23 years ago, 27-Sep-01, to lugnet.admin.database)
