Re: set number 1181 - Space hovercraft...

(...) You could be right, it looks like Hebrew, but it's not the packaging. It is a picture from a Lego Catalog. Selçuk (24 years ago, 7-Apr-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.town, lugnet.admin.database)

Re: set number 1181 - Space hovercraft...

(...) Hebrew. (Maybe Shiri can confirm this?) That's interesting because I never quite realised that they made Israel-only packaging. best Lindsay (24 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.town, lugnet.admin.database)

(...) Looks like it might be another version of one of the four 1998 Kabaya Space Port sets. (5 URLs) this to .town because Space Port is a Town play theme.) --Todd (24 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.town, lugnet.admin.database)

  Re: New Scala!

(...) LOL! I should have used my brain -- duh -- obviously the Technic angle beam wasn't the new one. (blush) OK, so the 8x8 purple disc is a new purple then? Even more magenta than the purple in Cyber Slam? --Todd (24 years ago, 2-Aug-00, to lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.scala)

  Re: New Scala!

(...) I should have clarified, the Technic angle beam is one from the Spider Slayer, I put it in for comparison. I'll have to dig out my DUPLO dinosaurs and check the purple. (24 years ago, 2-Aug-00, to lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.scala)

  Re: New Scala!

(...) 8x8 disc is purple, then the Technic angle beam is more violet? How does it compare to the purple/violet dinosaur? It it a new in-between color? --Todd (24 years ago, 2-Aug-00, to lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.scala)

Re: First scans: German Telekom "Tour de France" sets

(...) Just in case there is any doubt, these sets DO exist. I got one copy of each of the 4 today (well, in some cases a bit more than one) in Heidelberg Germany. And the bikes, sleeves of the racer figs, pennants and stickers are in pink/magenta. (...) (24 years ago, 1-Jul-00, to lugnet.promo, lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.town)

  Lack of quality?

Responsible for the Pause database of LEGO: I have sent a few updates to the DB. Are the pictures/scans/news ok, or should the information be more spesific? Reason I ask is that I do not know if the database is not updated due to lack of "quality" (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.admin.database)

  Old, "strange" LEGO set.

Hi I have just bought an old sealed LEGO set. It is easy to see that this set is old. If comes with "instruction" of how to fit the bricks together...   Suggestion to the database. Logical search.

I have a suggestion to the database of LEGO. Recently I wanted information about the set #022. As it is logical to associate a set of LEGO with its number, I tried "22" in the "Set Name/Number Search"-box. No match... I actually had to try many (...)
