  Cessna 152 MOC

Hello again! Here is my second MOC, a six-wide Cessna 152 airplane built to minifig scale. A few deep links: (URL) had a few challenges with this model. Real airplanes have a heavy engine in the nose that puts the center of gravity farther forward, (...) (21 years ago, 2-Nov-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.town) !

(...) I love it, I've always considered what it would take to use those domes on a minifig. I might consider going 'impure' for a Flash Gordonesque serial that's in the works. -Sean (21 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.minifigs)

Hey Dan, Welcome! I really like the way you used minifig hands to make guns--clever idea. Also the 1x1 round plates to simulate tank treads works quite well. Looking forward to future MOCs Bruce (21 years ago, 28-Jan-04, to lugnet.gaming)

(...) I took it apart. Unfortunately, the head is NOT like a minifig head - there's no top to it! The hair has a stud about 1-1.5" long that runs down through the torso and the black locking piece in the torso. The triangular screw screws into the (...)   Re: Mini-fig Scale Maersk Ship...

(...) Agreed. This is a known issue with the standard (as designed by LEGO) minifig scale container, it's too small. We're stuck between a rock and a hard place though, either we abandon the design (and lose compatability and not have a use for all (...)
