Re: MOC update: improved roundhouse (SNIR?)

(...) That building technik got even an own name recently: - SNIR-technik for "S"tuds "N"ot "I"n "R"ow. Has that been used in Lugnet before? It was just a fun mention in the German www.1000steine.de forum, but now it's used there more and more and (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jan-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

  roundhouse renovation completed

As visitors of brickshelf might have noticed, I have uploaded some new pics of the renovated engine roundhouse daily. (URL) the job is done and the roundhouse is finished (for the moment). (...) That's in fact the best news concerning TLC and the Lego train line I've heared during the last weeks or even months.... After the very dissapointing news from the toys fair in Nuremberg this makes me hope I will be able to spend money into (...) (24 years ago, 4-Feb-01, to lugnet.trains)

(...) those cabinets are great! You have made a good choice in the models (sets and MOCs) you display. Of course I do enjoy mainly your great sceeneries with buildings and rolling stock. Your grey + half timbered houses are georgeous! Regards, Ben (24 years ago, 6-Feb-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains)

Re: 7725 Did it come with track?

(...) As far as I know, 7725 was the only 12V train set which came without any track. No 12 V set came ever with a transformer/speed regulator. Regards, Ben (24 years ago, 6-Feb-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: my LEGO display

(...) I have planned to bring my roundhouse with me to Muelheim when we meet there in April 2001. I think we should stay in touch to do a combined display then. If 50 black 1x1x1 bricks could help you out: I will bring them with me to the meeting (...) (24 years ago, 6-Feb-01, to lugnet.trains)

Re: 7725 Did it come with track?

(...) Sorry, maybe a wrong use of "train set": I meant all sets , which contained trains (= engine + waggons) came with track (only exception 7725 and later 3225). Of course trains sets which contained just an engine or a waggon came always(?) (...) (24 years ago, 7-Feb-01, to lugnet.trains)

Re: LEGOs dirty trick: making money by not producing all masks as announced.

(...) I'm not asked, but this is one of my "favorite" topics, since I'm really concerned about the decreasing quality of bricks (to be measured) as well as the quality (playability) of sets (which is quite subjective). I recently bought a 342 ( (...) (24 years ago, 16-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)
