  Re: Gift set at LLC

(...) LLC does have Lego gift box kits, but they are not the same as the instructions online. The new box is not nearly as good as the older one. The old design was a functional box with a removable lid. The new one is not even a box, it is a solid (...) (22 years ago, 15-Dec-02, to lugnet.legoland.california, lugnet.market.shopping)

  LEGEND sets in stores?!

I just got back from TRU. I had my $10 off $50 Star Wars LEGO coupon in my pocket; I anticipated buying the $30 Jabba's Palace and TIE Bomber together for $45, then toss in a Jabba's Prize to break $50. I walked into the store and at the front was a (...) (22 years ago, 15-Dec-02, to lugnet.general)

Re: Any thoughts on making bricks in a 'brick red' color?

Re: Technic Axle Connectors - naming rationalisation

(...) I am mostly OK with your suggestion. The only slightly illogical point is that the bush of 3651 and the Axlehole of 32039 are not so different, so why not name them the same? Otherwise, the other drawback of these names (especially angle (...) (15 years ago, 26-Feb-10, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Coolest LEGO Experience?

(...) Since I've been playing with these silly plastic bricks for over 35 years (!), there have been a lot of 'cool' LEGO experiences. But, if you're asking me to pick just one, I'll pick the day that the movie "Jingle All the Way" was being filmed (...) (22 years ago, 10-Dec-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.people)

  Re: Leonardo da Vinci Flyer

(...) Thank you! It actually makes sense, though. Lego only selected kids 'til about 14 years old to be finalists. It is their main demographic, after all.   Re: Using LEGO in Media Legality

(...) As long as you don't use the LEGO logo, you are likely to be okay. Basically LEGO accepts that you treat their bricks as an art medium like pencils, paper and glue (but please don't cut them). Play well, Jacob (14 years ago, 5-Dec-10, to lugnet.general)
