  Re: Rebuilt the WTC!

(...) I've designed a minifig-scale model with all 110 stories. Each tower would have a footprint of 16 grey baseplates (4x4) and be about 30' tall. The two towers would require approximately 1 1/2 million bricks and 83,000 windows. I won't get (...) (23 years ago, 16-Sep-01, to lugnet.loc.nl)

Re: Show Your Support of STS-107

I was at a loss for a quote, pouring through possibilities about courage, thanksgiving and remembrance, until President Bush, at the memorial service today, said the hymn "How Great Thou Art" was a favorite of one of the astronauts, and read from (...) (22 years ago, 4-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: I need bulk mini-figs cheap

(...) Buy figs of the same color, regardless of pattern, and erase the pattern using Brasso. Lots of work, so if maintaining the semi-gloss isn't important, use a very fine sand papaer. Then you can make stickers using your inkjet printer and Avery (...) (23 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.games, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: Minifig sticker generator

(...) Ugh. Netscape does this, too. Seems they aren't able to save dynamically- generated images. I can't test the printing since I don't have my printer connected now, but I suspect it'll fail, too. A solution isn't volunteering itself tonight, so (...) (23 years ago, 26-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Ornithopter

(...) Thanks, all, for your comments. This is the first vehicle I've built in 20 years, and perhaps my first ever flying vehicle. The canopy is actually the second design I tried. The first was more conventional and ... well ... it stunk :-) I have (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jan-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Advertise on Brickshelf

The jackass that handled the banner ads for Kevin has started to spam me. This doesn't surprise me given what I learned of him, but this is particularly irritating since he's using one of his obscene domain names and some obscene language. I'm about (...)   All your Yellow Pod fins ... everywhere?

  Re: megapov install trouble

(...) Thanks, Ahui. I think installing 3.1 may solve my MEGAPov and LPub trouble. I'll give that a try. And if all else fails I'll start my entire system from scratch (it exists to do ldraw stuff, so that's not a problem), eliminating the (...) (21 years ago, 28-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad)

The pictures aren't clear but these lattice windows... (URL) actually attached to the wall they're in. They just slide in some tracks. In fact, the top third of the window isn't attached to the bottom 2/3. Amy (20 years ago, 16-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.arch)
