Re: Q: Why does the Jade Empire use dino tails?

(...) I thought it was to impale their round-eyed enemies. (...) I hope so, those landing gear and engine look pretty cool, and who can resist the women of the Jade Empire. -Keith (20 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New LEGO truck, 8436

(...) Just a matter of "when"... I placed an order for one already at my local toy store and I guess I'll get my hands on it in another 5 months... <Insert mixed feeling smiley here> Keith (20 years ago, 11-Jul-04, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Bot Forges

Amazing...your mocs are so distinctive. The Diagnostic bay doesn't even look lego to me, and a great moc is backed up by great photography. These are certified grade-A, smack free mocks. Keep up the great work. -Keith p.s. don't leave these (...) (20 years ago, 3-Aug-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Tieran Marine Core Gear

(...) Nice work David, I thought the use of the ski was particularly inspired, and the jetpack was a nice compact design. I made copies of each and I'm working on some variants. Thanks for the inspiration. -Keith (20 years ago, 27-Feb-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: THX1138 Vignette

(...) It is about time somebody imortalized Robert Duval in Lego form. Great movie, great vignette Prof, but without the standardized footprint, is it really a vignette? In any event, it is cool and a nice tribute to THX. -Keith (20 years ago, 11-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Who are you, and what have you done with Fradel? Did your momma write this for you? Did mine? Outstanding composition...in the word's of Sean Connery (Finding Forrester): "You're the man now, dog." -Keith (19 years ago, 9-Sep-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

What is going on with S@H?

I took a look at S@H today and suddenly the entire selection is unavailable to Canada, as if they carried nothing at all. Does anyone know what is going on there? Keith (19 years ago, 3-Jan-06, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  Re: First logo attempt: KeithLUG

(...) A babe improves anything by at least 50%. I think the font is way too timid though, and dangles too much. It's Vegas, my man, not Laughlin or State-Line. Again, however, I applaud the effort. -Keith (17 years ago, 18-Oct-07, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, FTX)

  Re: Best Damn Lego Logo

Cool moc Bryce, and even better to have a pic of it on the famous table...but if Tom Arnold touched that logo, you'd better have it steralized immediately. Who knows where that guy's fingers have been. -Keith (21 years ago, 23-Aug-03, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Harvest time

(...) Jojo, very interesting moc. For some reason it looked alien and vaguely creepy... all those antennas being harvested, with the bleak color-scheme looked like a bleak planet. I liked it, but probably not for the reason you intended. -Keith (21 years ago, 25-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build, FTX)

Amazing work Paul, like everybody else, I'm blown away by the roof. The entrance is also a great piece of building. The color scheme is perfect, espicially with those bits of red and blue on the corners. Well done. -Keith (20 years ago, 17-Apr-04, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.loc.us.oh, FTX)

Hey Bruce, nice job, reminds me of "Name of the Rose" without the poison ink. Great subject matter, great execution, great details...especially the pen/ink wells and recesses book-cases. I can almost hear the chanting in the background. -Keith (20 years ago, 22-Sep-04, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Big Truck

(...) May I ask why is this bad? They probably modelled the suspension after some real sets which saved them a lot of brain juice. And I think there are real trucks (actually buses) that use independent front suspension. Keith (20 years ago, 7-Nov-04, to lugnet.technic)

This was so cool, that I stood next to it on public day at BF 04' and claimed it was mine. That is what happens when you leave your MOC unattended. Hope you don't mind. -Keith (20 years ago, 17-Feb-05, to lugnet.space)

(...) Excellent work Mark, great the cockpit, inside and out. As with all your mechs, the legs and feet really standout. Now you just need that street-scene you were talking about. Nice fighter too, you've been a busy man. -Keith (19 years ago, 6-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
