Using the Lego CD "FIND" Command.

I almost forgot.... One of the nice things about using the LEGO CD is how easy it is to use the FIND command to find a set number within a chapter. To use it in the PDF files, click on the EDIT button (at the top) and select FIND. When entering a (...) (18 years ago, 23-Dec-06, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

(...) Anders, (you should be getting your CD in a few days) The gray garage frame and base were first introduced in 1966 in the #325 Shell Station, and later (after TLG used up the inventory of white frames and bases, circa 1967-68) the gray garage (...)   A quick LEGO History

Someone on a local Detroit area Historic Preservation site asked me if "LEGO By Samsonite" meant that Samsonite sold the company to LEGO. Well I went off on a long tangent, and I thought I would cut/paste it here on a LEGO forum. Since I wrote this (...) (18 years ago, 23-Dec-06, to lugnet.general)

The 1932 date is when toys were first produced. Prior to that, it's more Christiansen family business ventures. 1932 = startup of toys. 1949 = bought their first injection molding machine, and started making the Automatic Binding Bricks. The (...) (18 years ago, 24-Dec-06, to lugnet.general)

1970 was a very tumultuous year at TLG.
