Not really new ideas at all. All copied from other work. Especially the turning of the thinwall windows by 90 degrees! I just got an idea to remove any spacing gaps in at the right angle endpoint connections. Maybe this is old news? I used the 1x3x2 (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Me too. However it seems I spend 50% of my "lego time" here, which is fun, and 45% on commerce, which only sort of is... and at best 5% on actual building. Since I have multiple copies of the sets I was referring to, I don't have to actually (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)
