  Giant Cruiser and MOC contest

I was thinking that it would be fun to have an MOC contest judged in a few areas: Biggest MOC, Most Well-Designed MOC, and Most Technology-Utilizing MOC (i.e. with motors, lights, possibly some dacta, technic, and mindstorms elements). Everyone (...) (25 years ago, 20-Dec-99, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Advent Calendar Fun!

Are we all talking about 1298??? the two that we have been opening in the Pieniazek household: - are tracking each other set for set 100% so far, and that's 19 tries. - tracked what Thomas posted 100% until he stopped. If we ARE all talking about (...) (25 years ago, 20-Dec-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Re: Something I forgot to ask at the NELUG meeting...

I'd rather have a polo than a tee. Polos I can wear in business casual situations. Tees never. And wearing colors of some club shakes closet fans out of the woodwork, IF it's obvious what the logo means... which is a good thing. (The GMLTC logo has (...)   TLC or TLG ?

I have seen recent posts with TLC ( I am assuming this stands for The LEGO Corporation) - hasn't it always been TLG (The LEGO Group)? I know - I am being a little too much of a stickler.... Eugwe Coral (25 years ago, 20-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

Pit Droid and other 2000 SW in Colorado Springs!

Actually went to Zany Brainy for the first time today (I just got the 4561 Railway Express yesterday because no one had Mindstorms or 2000 LEGO, and it was so calm and empty at Target :) ) too check on track availiability. Well, they were sold out (...) (25 years ago, 20-Dec-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: various types of ABS

(...) They use several types of plastic. The minifig hands, I believe, are not ABS. I'm too tired to remember what though. (25 years ago, 20-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: CLSOTW voting

(...) I think the point is that the sites are picked by Todd. The vote is there as a sort of aid. It's not an election. (25 years ago, 20-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  various types of ABS

hi, y'all ~ i've noticed that there are different types of plastic used in lego elements, and am wondering if they are all made from differently treated ABS plastic, or indeed other types of plastic/ rubber. obviously, the hard brick plastic is (...) (25 years ago, 20-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Searching for Set number of certain Tires....

The tires you are describing appear to be very simular to the tires on the 5533 Red Fury. These are the same tires just w/different hubs that came w/the 8880. The hubs for the 8880 have the inside rim for the special collar for the all wheel drive. (...) (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.build)
