  Looking for track

I have just taken the plunge this year to get a train, and now have the problem of acquiring enough track. Is there a good way to get track? Short of calling S@H that is. Are there regular auctions that include track? Is there a way to get track and (...) (25 years ago, 12-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: 1.5 Upgrade -how?

Well, I want to check out the 1.5 software (may have to use it for FLL next year), and don't really have another choice. The price isn't a problem, it is the fact that while it says "24 Hours", you get completely different companies depending on (...) (25 years ago, 12-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Strange "cartoon" gears?

I don't have them either. I sold all my old legos when I was about 17 or 18. I still regret that. One of the nice things about these gears is that you could mesh them at various angles, up to 90 degrees. Most current technic gears don't do that. (...) (25 years ago, 12-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: 2000 Star Wars sets are out in US

I just checked out the pictures and I'm so glad these sets may be under the tree this year! One teeny nit-picky thing, though. The picture on the B-Wing box shows the ship flying with the wing out to the right side. It never flew this way in ROTJ. A (...) (25 years ago, 12-Dec-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general)

Hi all, Just a reminder the Greater Florida LEGO Train Club will be at Great American Train Show in Tampa December 18th and 19th.   Press Release?

Out of curiosity, Brad, is there going to be a press release about LEGO Direct in the near future? It just occurs to me that it would be a very postive thing to have appearing in the press on the heels of the Fortune Magazine award (as well as the (...)   Set 5876 spotted

Hello, I noticed at www.thetoyshop.com, there was a set 5876, which looks like 5875 in different packaging including a book about doctors. Has anyone bought this set who can confirm this? /Eric McCarthy/ (25 years ago, 12-Dec-99, to lugnet.belville)

Re: Training OmniRemote for RCX commands

Ed, LEGO does not use IrDA protocol but this is not the problem with OmniRemote. OmniRemote simply records any IR it detects at training and transmits a copy of the signals no matter what format they are in. I believe the two main problems with (...)
