  Re: Full range of colors?

(...) The LDraw FAQ is pretty comprehensive when it comes to the LDraw colors. LDAO does have a color chart, showing all possible allowed combinations for LDraw, but the colors are actually generated from LDLite. BUT, I *think* I posted a "color (...) (26 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Unified UK Lego Web Page/Community?

(...) I like the logo - it was the right choice out of the 2, quite simple but cool. (...) That's cool. (...) There is already a website with all of those around somewhere - do a search for rtlspeak. Saves you having to find meanings to the more (...) (26 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.loc.it)

Re: Partsref is Moving to LUGNET

(...) Ooo, didn't think about that one. Hmm. I guess you'll need to copy the images off to your own server. That's too bad. BTW, the primary reason I wanted to move off the WorldNet site was because I could never get an FTP connection to do updates. (...) (26 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Partsref is Moving to LUGNET

(...) Well, like it says on the page, "To reference a part image, when you already know the LDraw number for that part, use the following URL format. (URL).gif" In other words, linking directly to these images is OK in this case. (...) These are (...) (26 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.db.brictionary)

Re: Merchandising (was: Re: Any one know these email addresses?)

(...) It's mostly a random site I plucked from yahoo after 5 mins search, so it's not really a recommendation as I have no idea how good they are! There's probably a better deal somewhere. But if you do go then: (URL) possibly better as that's the (...) (26 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: Dimensions of a SD40 and GP35

Well, Chris- A GP35 was 56' 2"; an SD45 was 65' 8" (EMD used the longer underframe of SD45 as a standard, which was then used for the SD38, SD39, and SD40). The main difference, however, is that the GPs were a B-B (4-4) wheel configuration, while (...) (26 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Full range of colors?

I've looked through the LDraw FAQs, and I'm casually familiar with the color palette available, but I was wondering if anyone has assembled a more-or-less comprehensive listing of the colors available for use with LDraw. (Mind you, that was all one (...) (26 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Dimensions of a SD40 and GP35

According to what I just looked up a GP-35 is 56'-2" long, while the SD40's length was about 66'-5". There's a ten foot difference there which would be noticable at LEGO scale. (...) (26 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

Ed Jones wrote in message ... (...) that (...) Funny you should mention that... I've been thinking I need a big big big project... something to make up for lost building time.. and I looked around, thought about building a shelving unit out of (...) (26 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) I'd vote for caps. Something that I could where all the time and attract attention to the Lego community (and help me start a local LUG!) Steve Martin (26 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.publish)
