  Rare Classic LEGO Window variations
 
I just got an very old LEGO set in the mail from Germany last weekend. It was the old 1950's version of the Town Plan. It is set "#700 mit Inhalt" (with contents), and is in a large wooden box with a 2 piece sliding lid that has the 1950's Town Plan (...) (25 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

The rotation sensor does seem like a very good way to go. The only real problem is you can only detect tilt on one plane (front to back, or side to side, not both) Unless, of course, you have two rotation sensors. (I didn't even bother ordering just (...) (25 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)
