| I too have brought the Dinsmore compass. Mine is the Digital version (4 o/c o/p's corresponding to N,S,E,W) I am going to try using Gasperi's (sp?) general purpose analog interface and try summing the compass O/P's to get reading between the 4 (...) (26 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

| Hi all, Got a dumb question: Is there a way to download the firmware to the RCX without using the lego mindstorms CD? I run NT 4.0 and can't install/use the new 1.5 CD. Since I plan on using NQC, I didn't think not being able to use the CD would be (...) (26 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

| Taylor series should converge quite rapidly. After 2 or 3 terms, the error is usually neglectable (depending or your demands, of course: this should be fine for up to a few decimals) For those not familiar with the Taylor expansion, I've added a (...)
