Re: Lego train club for the Saint Louis area?

Now that this thread is into the nitty-gritty of organising the local meeting, how about dropping .Trains from the list of groups? It's kinda moot for everyone else... Kevin (25 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mo.stl, lugnet.loc.us.mo, lugnet.loc.us.mo.kan)

Re: What's the biggest/best spare piece you ever got in a set?

About a month ago, I bought 4 "Town Folks" sets on clearance at Wal-Mart, for $1.00 US each. One of them had duplicates of all the pieces...that is to say, instead of 6 people, there were 12, instead of 6 headpieces, 12, 2 sets of coins, 2 pizzas, 2 (...)   What I do not want to see in RIS 2.0

I was sorry to see that one basic - and in my opinion important - change from RIS 1.0 to 1.5 is the fact that LEGO in response to alleged customer demands included three "ready-to-go" robots in the new Constructopedia. While I do not want to exclude (...) (25 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)
