Re: What is the exact meaning of MIB?

(...) Cheers Larry, I recently started participating in auctions and also recently got my first winnings from a smoker. I never thought this would be an issue before but the parts stink and even appear slightly yellowed. I agree with you totally in (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: Set 5909

(...) I suspect one reason this set hasn't stayed around is that it takes an awfull lot of shelf space for a $20 set, and it doesn't stack well. Stores probably didn't re-order after the first wave. I suggest watching the clearance stores (note that (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: parts listing - prefered order?

I don't care what order the descriptive terms in the listing are. I usually care more about what order the items in the listing are. Usually I want to see stuff in type order, that is, list all the 1x4s plates of whatever color. But sometimes I want (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.theory)

Re: What is the exact meaning of MIB?

(...) I think you should reconsider, and add that. I find smoke rather annoying. It seems to stick to the plastic for a long time. I take smoke into account when deciding about purchases, when I can. But I usually forget to ask. If smokers are (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: LEGO/DK event at Ottakars

(...) I agree entirely. Lego and DK's response to this of course would be that the pictures, parts and colours are only a guide and you should use your initiative to build from the parts you do have, missing the point by a mile as usual. When my (...) (25 years ago, 22-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: More Questions from Another Train Newbie

  Re: Looking for Tractor site

I built some minifig scale combines, they're on my pages somewhere... They have gear drive so that when you push them, the front mechanism rotates. However they're not WORKING, in the sense that they don't actually collect material and shoot it out (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Egyptian Theme in Town

I have some new pictures but I lost my scanner driver CD so haven't scanned anything lately. (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)
