Re: Trans-blue pieces (was: Silver bricks)

(...) John! Of all people, I can't believe you forgot about the Android Base walls in blue that come in Neptune Discovery Lab! ;) 6x10x11 or thereabouts, they mate with the quarterdomes you mention there. (Have I created a monster? Are you going to (...) (25 years ago, 14-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

  LEGO DUPLO at McDonalds

Something I have not seen mentioned here, but McDonald's also has a LEGO DUPLO promotion going on right now for Children under three. I have no idea what is included in the promo. (25 years ago, 14-Nov-99, to lugnet.promo)

  Re: Prussian

(...) Aha! He seems to have adjusted quite well. (...) Just imagine them on a movie set, I suppose... or maybe that's where they _think_ they are... I agree they're limiting. I've heard of some dextrous poeple managing to remove them, but they've (...) (25 years ago, 14-Nov-99, to lugnet.pirates)

Re: has anybody picked up 5986 amazon ancient ruins?

I have the Amazon set. I like it a good amount. I love the little skeletons and it has one suspended by a chain with a 'trap' that drops it down a shaft into the room. The bridge 'collapses' into the water with the alligator and the Aztec (...) (25 years ago, 14-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.reviews)

  Adventurers Sets wanted--Trade

If anyone wants to trade their Adventurers for Pirate/Space/Castle/Town, please email me and let me know your area of interest. I am recycling my Lego collection on behalf of my daughter and can't justify spending any more money! Good stuff (...) (25 years ago, 14-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: All black 5542

What I think is coolest about this is that the 5542 is really "correct minifig scale" rather than the usual tiny toy choppers the figs are stuck using... I may convert to 8 wide trains yet. (naaaa...) (25 years ago, 14-Nov-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.publish, lugnet.modelteam)

Re: Canadian Postal Van scan wanted

(...) I have scaned my copy of the set and uploaded it to Kevin's server. I have also e-mailed both of the requesters with a copy. Glad I could help the global AFOL movement in a small way. V. (25 years ago, 14-Nov-99, to lugnet.db.scans)

Re: 2 person Heavy Assault Walker

Very nice Eric. It does look quite a bit like the real AT-PT. I had tried to build one once, but didn't have the pieces that would make it work, though, but I like the click-brick idea. Think, you could bring it Saturday? I'd really like to see it (...) (25 years ago, 14-Nov-99, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general)

  Re: Prussian

Heather Patey wrote (...) He's a ninja shogun in another life ;-). There is a quite a trade in heads between my themes. As a general rule, I like the expressions on heads, rather than the straight smiley (although one always needs _some_ young and (...) (25 years ago, 14-Nov-99, to lugnet.pirates)

  Canadian Postal Van scan wanted

(...) What type of base does the wheel-set have? A 2x2 black brick? I would sincerely LOVE to have a scan of the instructions, and several others I would guess, too. Could I trade you some scanning of instructions, Idea books, or sticker sets for (...) (25 years ago, 14-Nov-99, to lugnet.db.scans)

Re: Canadian Postal Van scan wanted

(...) I have a copy, but don't feel like digging it out right now. I think it is just regular old red hub/treaded wheels. James P (25 years ago, 14-Nov-99, to lugnet.db.scans)

  Re: Age average

(...) Oh good, at 45 I was beginning to worry that I was the 'old fart' of the AFOL group :) (...) Maybe if I can just sell a few more silver buckets I could retire (yeah, right !)   Re: What colors do bricks come in?

(...) Which Belville set were your referring to ? I have a 5870 and I don't see anything close to the McDonalds purple. Ray (25 years ago, 14-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Homemade Sensors

(...) Thanks, I understand the problems. Will look around for sources and check if the vendors you mentioned will ship internationally. Keep up the good work! (25 years ago, 14-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Michael Schians LEGO Fan-Seite

Re: Lego train club for the Saint Louis area?

(...) I live in Paducah, Kentucky which is about 2-3 hours away from St.Louis. I would definitely be interested in forming a train group in this part of the world. I've been hoping something would form around here for a long time. John Warren (25 years ago, 14-Nov-99, to lugnet.trains)
