  Re: R2D2 spottings?

(...) Saw one in the local TRU this week. Can't say as I'm particularly whelmed by this set. James (URL) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  Re: New Castle? Huzzah!

(...) Not to my knowledge... Pity, as CRAPPs go, it's not too bad, IMHO. The 'river gorge' baseplate has been used in two sets so far (three counting the 2000 Castle): Amazon Ancient Ruins (green, jungle printing, river through the middle), and Rock (...)   RE: R2D2 spottings?

I picked one up a couple of weeks ago at Toys'R US. I've seen them at several TRU's in the Vancouver (British Columbia) area. (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Sensori di rotazione (era: Cingoli e motori)

Ciao Marco, (...) Purtroppo non ho mai avuto l'occasione di vedere il kit di cui parli. E' in vendita in Italia? Che per caso vuoi utilizzare quel generatore a mo' di stroboscopio in accoppiamento con il sensore di luce? Conosci altri usi (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.it)

  Re: Cingoli: risolto!

Ciao Marco, (...) Non ti seguo. Se l'RCX limita la corrente a 1A, perche' usare un alimentatore che eroga 3A? Ciao, Antonio (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.it)

  Set #5561 - a bargain?

A local department store here in Aachen, Germany, is offering the 1997 Model Team Set #5561 "Big Foot 4 x 4" for 79 DM (40 Euro / 42 US$). I've just recently left my Dark Ages (and thus am way out of touch and also short on real Lego). The question (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: rotating animation of XP-21

Pat, You're animated Gif is awesome! I like your engine design. I think there is a section for animations in the links section of Lugnet. Need to put it there. (I need to put mine there as well.) Do you know of any other animated Gifs that use (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Line in the Sand

(...) Did you mean you=Steve or you=anyone? (...) I agree, the sequence should be illegal. My point was, does CERTIFY BFC change the value of the internal local_clipping variable, or not? My intention was that it does not. From a practical (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Help on upgrading MS 1.0 to 1.5

(...) I can now give at least one confirmation of this. Fortified by Rick's post, I went to the local store and bought the 1.0 (set #9719). I then called the number above and told them I wanted the upgrade. They asked me if I had a sticker. I said (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Classic SW Lego/MF

Hi, I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but in the new 2000 catalog, I didn't see any classic SW lego, like the X-Wing. Does this mean that TLG is going to stop producing them and concentrate on the new ones, like the A-Wing and (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Tapestry in 6091?

I only have a couple minutes, but I noticed something very odd on pages 16 and 17 of the new catalog. Looking on p.16, I saw what looked like a large Royal Knights symbol thru the gate of 6091. I passed it of as background until I saw the blue (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)
