Re: 1st Annual International LEGO Train Conference

(...) How about Minneapolis (*more* centrally located?;) (...) The NMRA convention is IIRC the weekend of the 6th. A problem for the PNLTC? (...) Again, perhaps a conflict with the proximity in time of the convention? -John (...) (27 years ago, 11-Nov-99, to lugnet.trains.org)

Re: Mindstorms 1.0+1.5 upgrade vs. 1.5

1.0 + Upgrade = 2 constructopedias and 2 test pads, more pieces, plus an RCX that has an AC adapter socket 1.5 = 1 c-pedia, 1 test pad, no AC socket, fewer pieces Right now the 1.0 plus the (free) 1.5 upgrade is the one to get, IMHO. --Doug Wilcox (...)   Mindstorms 1.0+1.5 upgrade vs. 1.5

I've been thinking about getting Mindstorms and am confused about how 1.0+1.5 upgrade kit compares to straight 1.5. Can anyone help me on this? Thanks! (27 years ago, 11-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)
