Re: One of the Mindfest pics

(...) Man, I laughed so hard when I saw that picture!! I printed a copy of it and hung it up on the refrigerator. That's me trying to crack a smile. :) Naw, we were talking about roadsign confusing in New England (especially Massachusetts) and (...) (25 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.people)

Place you bulk order here.. (Was Re: Big Brother is Watching (and reading, too!))

Here is a rough rough draft of the revised letter to Lego. I figuresd I'd just throw out my company name to see it if helps. Who know. ;-) Please take a look, add thoughts, critize it, laugh at it, fill in your wants, or just ignore it. I've alsawy (...) (25 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Big Brother is Watching (and reading, too!)

(...) Yes, I know. I'm one of them! :) (...) Yes, I know this too. My point was to use a large scale "bulk set" purchase as a means of getting enough parts to show as a proof-of-concept that something like this could work. The idea would be to then (...)   Re: Big Brother is Watching (and reading, too!)

(...) I would think that there is some lead time on the sets, so knowing what is currently available might not help us that much. Knowing what is coming NEXT is probably where we would need to be, since those are the sets that are currently in (...) (25 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Big Brother is Watching (and reading, too!)

(...) My point (well ok, one of them) is that I don't think this is an extreme case. If I said "who wants 500+ macaroni bricks in the color of their choice?" How many hands do you think would go up? 5? 10? I'd guess even more. (...) Again, I think (...) (25 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) Your secret stash, eh? Sorry to spoil it. But it was such a great find for me, so I had to brag online. :) (...) I'd rather not deal with shipping stuff right now, so you can do this. (25 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Taun Tauns

I hope I spelled that right, but anyway, I was thinking about what new Star Wars sets I would buy first, and I noticed that the two Kaadus from the Gungan Patrol set look like they could be converted to taun tauns fairly easily. Now I might get a (...) (25 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) I've compiled LegOS under RedHat 5.2 without problems. I recently upgraded to 6.0 and I still have no problems. Have you downloaded some odd version of gcc or binutils?   Microfig-scale heavy worker mech  [DAT]

Hey folks, Here's a microfig-scale heavy worker mech. Scale is roughly 1:115 -- a 2x2 brick would be 6 foot square (or 36 square feet) on the top; a person can be represented by a 1x1 round brick topped by a 1x1 round plate. I came up with this (...)
