(...) I'm using them in lieu of touch-sensor feelers/bumpers on my robots. I have the motor attached via the slip-clutch, and a rotation sensor attached to the axle. When the sensor stops changing, the robot knows it's stuck somehow. (27 years ago, 1-Oct-99, to lugnet.build)
