How about using something the rest of the world can use? perl and the dbi interface is fairly portable, works in NT, Mac, Unix, etc. Nothing can stop you using Access, but Access isn't something your non-NT hobbiest will have. (...) Define best... MIT may be best if cost is no object but I'd stump for my alma mater MTU in terms of price/performance. Less than 1/5th the cost when I went there and almost as good. (27 years ago, 28-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)
