  SPIED! #6998 Hyperspace Flagship! (not)

This is a truly rare set! Only one built! By myself ten years ago when I was in high school! ;-) Sorry about that. I just dug up some old pictures of this crazy-looking spaceship I built out of about 1000 pieces back in 1987 (it's neat to see a (...) (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Good vs. Evil

(...) Awww... no gigantic clashes of good and evil.... <:( Yeah, that's much more realistic... It's just fun to imagine the castle world in black & white... much more fairy-tale-ish or mythic, depending on your view... DaveE (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Good vs. Evil

(...) ~gads! i'm glad i'm not the only one who has woven a complex web of soap opera intrigue around the castle characters! if the parts weren't meant to be rearranged, why do they come apart? to me, this is an element of the creativity. i prefer (...) (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Don Quixote puts away his lance (was Re: McDonalds set

(...) Yes, it's a classic Kohlberg dilemma. [1] I think you can make a good argument for _either_ response being the high moral ground, depending on your framework of morality. 1. In Europe, a woman was near death from a very unusual kind of cancer. (...) (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.theory)

  RE: 5VDC Voltage Regulation

The coil specs listed by Micheal are correct and I believe I have the proper resistor (I'm a little rusty at reading them, but Orange/Orange/Brown is correct, yes? And I read a value of 229 on my meter) Is something else wrong? < snip> I made the (...) (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Good vs. Evil

(...) Which brings up a question: What happens to your Lego when you aren't looking? I know that no lego MOC is safe in our basement - there's about 4 or 5 people who have MOC's in our basement at any given time, and all of them are ripe targets for (...)   RE: 5VDC Voltage Regulation

(...) Ummmm, I think Michael meant to say 33 Ohm resistor. That's what his calculation says and like soooo many others, I just looked at the answer without checking the math... Cheers, Ralph Hempel - P.Eng ---...--- Outside of a dog, a book is a (...) (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)
