I am interested in starting a robotics club in a K-5 elementary school for gifted kids using the RIS as a base. Has anyone had experience in working with kids in those age groups? I am familiar with the First Lego League program sponsored by TLG, (...) (27 years ago, 21-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

I was at FAO Schwartz in Seattle today and the Mindstorms sets all had a sticker on them indicating that all Mindstorms sets purchased after 8/1/99 are elgible for a free software upgrade to version 1.5 (Plus a $3.95 shipping fee). HI everyone, is there anyway to use NQC and run RcxCC without having LEGO MindStorms cd-rom ? why i need NQC? i am trying to get the out put of a NQC program which is Rcx op-code(as i heard- correct me if i am wrong) and simulate it on a canvas. (...) (27 years ago, 21-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Hi, I have downloaded the as11 assembler. When I assemble a *.asm file, a *.icb file was created. Then I whated to load the file in the HB but the message "Fatal internal error: Illegal line in .s19 file" was dispayed on the monitor. What's the (...)
