| LEGO was first introduced to Asia in 1962, when sales started in Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong. Sales started off very slowly, and remained so for a very long time. | Also I got an interesting reply from lego. I asked them why all of their motors were slow. I MOC'ed a 8090 Supercar together with a 30,000 rpm 7.2 Hobby RC motor. | Saturday Academy, the non-profit I taught summer camps for, provided my class with pre-ordered NXTs the week they became available. That was before the recession.
