In C you can use the functions outport and inport, and the paralell port has TTL levels (5 V.). Its Easy to do in pascal as well as C++ using the PORT[address] command. Ive used It before to control external devices. A normal parralell pot has 8 outputs D0 - 7 and a few lines that you can use as inputs (not sure which ones though?) The port (...) (27 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
