The technique I've been using to make minifig torsos can be extended to heads, but I have one critical problem that I haven't been able to figure out yet: Before tracing an image, I need an image that is facing the camera head-on. WOW!! I am surprised the scanned results are usable /AT ALL/!!!! I'm generally completely skeptical about technology's ability to perform such tasks. I.e. almost 100% of the time a human operator is what is needed to achieve usable results. (...) (14 years ago, 19-Mar-11, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

(...) I think that many of the POV-Ray colors were tuned by the All-In-One Installer from LDraw.org. These are tuned for rendering. The LDconfig.ldr is not tuned for rendering. It is meant for creating building instructions. For this reason, I have (...) (14 years ago, 18-Mar-11, to lugnet.cad.ray)
