  Re: My MOC: Clockwork Do-nothing-machine

(...) Looks like it will be helpful to really understand how it really works... Thanks in advance ;o) Philo (14 years ago, 8-May-10, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

(...) Thanks Alexander. Please see my reply to the earlier message. Andrew (14 years ago, 8-May-10, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: My MOC: Clockwork Do-nothing-machine

(...) Thanks Philippe. The "action point" is not the pivot, that's just the pivot. A little past the pivot is a technic pin which, in the "off" state prevents the mechanism from moving once it has reached the lid-closed position. So yes, it has to (...)   Re: My MOC: Clockwork Do-nothing-machine

(...) Brilliant!!! I'm also big fan of purely mechnical "robots" with only a single motor - you have taken this one step further by using a clockwork motor! I for one would be very interested in instructions. It's not clear to me exactly how the (...) (14 years ago, 8-May-10, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: My MOC: Clockwork Do-nothing-machine

(...) Excellent! someting I didn't get is the need for the long black liftarm to stick out past the action point. Or perhaps just an availability issue? Philo (14 years ago, 8-May-10, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: motivation?

Hi, I'd just like to acknowledge the hard work of the people putting the parts together. Without the parts you can't create the models...etc...etc I guess it's hard work keeping up with Lego as they are constantly churning out new parts. I've had (...) (14 years ago, 6-May-10, to lugnet.cad)

One word: OMG. Actully 3 there, but Bram: this is amazing work. Love it. And the powerpoint too. You've made me take a look at LDsculpt again. Jaco (14 years ago, 6-May-10, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: motivation?

OK I guess I've given wrong words in my post above. I wish I could edit them. Especially "respect" was all wrong, even with the question mark. I guess I lost the fun part of it for a while but now that I took and gave the Cordak housing one more (...) (14 years ago, 6-May-10, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: motivation?

Like Mike I also know how you feel. Sometimes you just have the impression of emptying the sea with a spoon: so many parts to do... But when I see the many buildings instructions here and there (especially all the NXT books) I realize that the work (...) (14 years ago, 6-May-10, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: motivation?

(...) I don't think, but better you ask the PT-Admin. Personally I love all your bionicle parts as I know that they are the most difficult to build in LDraw. I am dreaming of a bionicle figure to animate in LD4DStudio or similar application. cu (...) (14 years ago, 6-May-10, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: motivation?

(...) I certainly feel thankful for your parts and make an effort to thank all part authors whenever I blog or write about LDraw. I'm even in discussions with someone about making an 'official' blurb and logo for this very reason. One thing to (...) (14 years ago, 5-May-10, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: motivation?

(...) Maybe it'd be possible to have some kind of download counters to the part pages on the parts tracker as well? -Santeri (14 years ago, 5-May-10, to lugnet.cad)
