  LEGO iPhone/iPod Touch Rotating Dock

Just added my newest creation to BimP. The LEGO iPhone/iPod Touch Rotating Dock. It's a build that has been on my mind for sometime and I thought it turned out pretty well. Here's a close up pic: (URL) Check out more pics and video at: (URL) (15 years ago, 8-Sep-09, to lugnet.announce.moc, FTX)

  Re: *** LDView Version 4.1 Beta 1 Released ***

(...) Cool. Most of the renders I've posted on Flickr recently have been prepared with LDView too. I add radiosity, but I haven't changed the color library. (Indeed, the images attest to the fact that I've had trouble with the trans-gray "smoke" (...) (15 years ago, 8-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: new moc: retro patio set

Again, great work. These chairs would look nice with a new 7369 camper: (URL) Saso (15 years ago, 8-Sep-09, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: *** LDView Version 4.1 Beta 1 Released ***

(...) Here's a test render of 10129 that I made from the raw LDView export file: (URL) Pretty good right out of the gate. Next step is to add radiosity and the Lugnet colors library. -Orion (15 years ago, 8-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: *** LDView Version 4.1 Beta 1 Released ***

(...) Thanks for pointing that out. For the default case (not creating a custom xml file, and not filling in the path field), this made the most sense on the Mac. For the advanced case, I'm hopeful that advanced users will know how to dig into an (...) (15 years ago, 8-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: *** LDView Version 4.1 Beta 1 Released ***

(...) As a note for OSX users, the LGEO.xml file is built into the .app package. -Orion (15 years ago, 8-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: *** LDView Version 4.1 Beta 1 Released ***

(...) Oh dear... I hope I did this. I should add for Orion that it's quite trivial to add parts in whatever library you choose, especially if you make use of header files to do a lot of the mass declares etc. It really is a fantastic conversion (...) (15 years ago, 8-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: *** LDView Version 4.1 Beta 1 Released ***

(...) You're welcome. For many people, this will be the premier feature of LDView 4.1. I intended to include it in LDView 4.0, but decided it was better to get the release out instead of delaying it just for that. It was not an easy feature to (...) (15 years ago, 8-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Turning to Tie-Ins, Lego Thinks Beyond the Brick

Turning to Tie-Ins, Lego Thinks Beyond the Brick By NELSON D. SCHWARTZ Published: September 5, 2009 Billund, Denmark FROM the outside, there is nothing playful about the drab, two-story Lego Idea House here, where designers gather in whitewashed (...)   GCC 3.4.6 vs. 4.4.1

While working on Bibo, I observed some unexpected differences between GCC 3.4.6 and gcc 4.4.1. Specifically, one of the XS Lisp demo programs that is fine when built with 3.4.6 is too large (section .bss not within region ram) when built with 4.4.1. (...)   Re: *** LDView Version 4.1 Beta 1 Released ***

(...) This feature alone is awesome (and way better than mesh enhancer). Thanks for the hard work. -Orion P.S. Any plans to build in support for 3rd party POV part libraries (i.e. LGEO, Anton, etc...)? (15 years ago, 7-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

** Current Conversion file for LDraw to LDD ver. 1.7

Just went through the parts and we do have a good amount of new parts added with this update. Fixed and added many colors. For now I’m sticking to the parts that are easy to get done. Going for the bulk first, I will then work on the complex parts (...) (15 years ago, 7-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad.ldd, FTX)

  Re: HP sets to return?

(...) I have seen a few articles hinting at the fact that The LEGO Group might be looking at releasing new sets (or re-releasing old ones) to coincide with the release of the video game. The most recent article I saw was on 'The Leaky Cauldron', a (...) (15 years ago, 7-Sep-09, to lugnet.harrypotter, FTX)

Re: LPub 4.0.0.3 available for test

(...) Kevin, I'm using LPub 4.0.0.4 and I seem to be having this problem that was presumably fixed in 4.0.0.3. Is there something I need to do to get the background color to fill the pdf page? Right now I have my page setup to 11.0 by 8.5 (...) (15 years ago, 7-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad)
