Re: What's the story with all the recent mold changes?

The only one I have any info on is the (URL) cylinder>. Someone from LEGO (don't remember who) said that the (URL) previous version> was made up of pieces that were glued together inside. (This makes sense that it would have to be, otherwise how (...) (15 years ago, 20-Jul-09, to lugnet.general, lugnet.parts, lugnet.lego, FTX)

DATHeader Update (The Reviewer Tool) Version 2.0.7

I have just uploaded a new version of DATHeader (2.0.7) NEW: 1) Identical vertices on quads made into triangle. Maybe by this the BFC is broken.   Re: What's the story with all the recent mold changes?

(...) I noticed that one as well, but the second change makes less sense. The first one, I'd guess was to relieve stress when an axle is pushed through the hole, and help prevent the bricks from splitting in half. The second change, they filled in (...)   Re: Minifig Segway

(...) First person I know of who pulled that off was Steve Ringe from MichLUG, and he did it to have driving cars on a Town/Train layout. (...) It might be harder than you think. The Segway is a pretty small model, so I think the easiest way to pull (...) (15 years ago, 18-Jul-09, to lugnet.town, FTX)

I'm no expert in plastics (okay, I know nothing about plastics) but I'd like to offer a few theories. Technic 1x2 Brick - perhaps the failure/reject rate is lower with fewer sharp corners for the plastic to have to flow into? Functionally still (...) (15 years ago, 20-Jul-09, to lugnet.general)

Re: L3P -check Messages and hold votes

(...) Partly correct. I used an open source version of pascal to compile this program. Since it's not win specific, it's probably not as optimized to the win platform as Delphi is. -Orion (15 years ago, 20-Jul-09, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  LD4DStuido samples on Youtube

Hi all, I've rendered some of the LD4DStudio samples and put them on Youtube. (URL) are in 1280x720 resolution but Youtube scales them to meet your bandwidth, so be sure you select HD where possible. I think they look quit nice for all default (...) (15 years ago, 20-Jul-09, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.animation)
