It's only taken me nearly a year to make a second one. Perhaps I'll have to make it an annual event. (URL) (16 years ago, 26-Feb-09, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general)

(...) Thanks to the both of you. The cow catcher design was directly inspired by the work of Shaun Sullivan, so the credit goes to him. (...) Thanks, Eric, it's taken a long time for me to figure out a "good" way of taking photos of an all black locomotive. I'm sure other builders use the 2x2 printed tile in the same way, but I can't think of any examples off hand. --Tony (16 years ago, 26-Feb-09, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general)

Not sure about the answers to your questions, but I had noticed it myself. Here's a another picture of the overall set. (URL) if straight track isn't offered right away, it'd be easy enough to make some with the old 12v rails. I think it'd be great (...) (16 years ago, 26-Feb-09, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Good start, though it takes some exotic pieces. Seems like Lego should make a piece that joins liftarms end-to-end. I'm sure i'm not the only person that would use it. (16 years ago, 26-Feb-09, to lugnet.technic)
