This is perfectly on-topic (well, assuming you want a sand texture for a Lego POV scene.) I've seen sandy scenes done, but I don't know where such a texture resides. Check out the POV-Ray newsgroups at news.povray.org, you can get their from the POV (...) (25 years ago, 7-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)
